The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (Oyo SUBEB) has announced the dates for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for applicants who applied for teaching job vacancies in primary schools across the state.
Exam Date
The CBT exams are scheduled to take place from Monday, July 22, 2024, to Friday, July 26, 2024.
This announcement was made on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, by the Chairman of Oyo SUBEB, Nureni Adeniran.
Exam Venue
The University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre (DLC) Computer-Based Testing Centre, located at Ajibode, Ibadan, has been designated as the venue for the exams.
Nureni Adeniran explained the board’s decision, saying:
“The Board has approved that the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre conduct the computer-based tests due to its long-standing pedigree in such examinations.”
Exam Details
- Participants: A total of 50,097 applicants were deemed eligible to participate in the CBT exams.
- Notification: The date and time for the exams have been communicated to applicants via the email addresses and phone numbers provided during the application process. Applicants are advised to regularly check these channels for confirmation.
- Required Documents: All applicants must bring the following to the examination hall:
- Printed CBT examination schedule (showing date, time, and venue)
- Application print-out with an attached passport photograph
Note: These two documents are mandatory and serve as the sole qualifications for entry into the CBT examination hall.
Important Instructions
- Punctuality: Applicants are advised to strictly adhere to the time and date sent to them by the board. Latecomers will not be accommodated.
- Avoid Loitering: To ensure orderliness, applicants must avoid loitering around the examination venue.
- Beware of Scammers: Nureni Adeniran cautioned applicants against relying on unverified information or hearsay, encouraging them to rely only on official updates from Oyo SUBEB.

Successful candidates from the computer-based test will proceed to the next phase, which includes oral interviews.
Nureni Adeniran reiterated the board’s commitment to a transparent recruitment process and assured applicants that the exercise will conclude on time to enable the prompt induction of successful candidates into the basic education system in Oyo State.
